In the trial & error of trying to discipline Mr Almost 3 we have instituted amongst other things the “naughty step” to be sat on til he calms down if he’s having a bad tantrum. During a mini tantie the other night, it took me a while to figure out he was saying “I want to sit on the naughty step” while I was trying to settle him down. “Why do you want to sit on the naughty step”, I ask. Reply - ”I want to be grumpy”. I couldn’t stop the laugh escaping…

haha .. the things kids say, yes we have a similar system … our is to go to the bathroom (in adelaide it was the Laundry, but the laundry here is a bit noisy with the heater going) ..
