The bushfires at Gaeta and Nangandie especially have been the incident of the month. After virtually no rain for 6 months, about 90% of the farm went up except the house & shed. Fences & waterpipes destroyed but fortunately no cattle lost to the fire. It was a few weeks of worry and sheer exhaustion for Dad, Mum & Scott along with the others in the area. Our prayers are with all the farmers in the area who have lost so much. *edit* 9/11 Dad rang to say they were getting heavy rain up at the farm, heavy enough to stop work! Just what is needed to get the grass going again.
