Kids Crafty Stuff – SAHM Project

Kylie has just started a Kids Stuff section on her blog (*edit* sorry site closed) as part of the SAHM Project (Stay-at-Home-Mum) to help with ideas for activities to do with your kids – crafty things, excusions, cooking, computer stuff etc.  She thought the house we made was right up that alley.

Cameron & I made a house out of a 1 metre tall box lid, added a couple of floors & walls cut out of heavy cardboard box and then each day we would make a couple of items of furniture that Cameron would realise that a house needed.
Up to now we have a double bunk bed, toilet, shower, tv, chest of drawers, letterbox, bookcase, pantry, fridge, stove, sink, bin, computer, washing machine, table & chairs & maybe some I’ve forgotten.
(materials: cereal boxes, toilet rolls, paddlepop sticks, empty moisturizer containers, pipe cleaners, cloth scraps and lots & lots of masking & sticky tape & hot glue gunning)

  1. Sandy this is fantastic, sorry I havent made it around earlier, but things have been so hectic (I went back to Adelaide for a week for Uni), have barely been able to post, let only surf and comment 🙂 But I am here now. Such a gorgeous house, and a gorgeous boy! I definately think this fits into the Kids Stuff Blog! I love it, especially the art on the walls. teehee 🙂
